  • Welcome to The Kevin Calabro Show
    April 3, 2009 3:19 pm

Jessamyn McIntyre (Producer) writes… If there’s one thing I’ve learned from my first week in Seattle, it’s certainly the passion Seattlites show for their teams – not to mention, the stock they put into their own Kevin Calabro. I couldn’t be more thrilled to be a part of The Kevin Calabro Show on 710 ESPN […]

  • ZZZZZags!
    March 27, 2009 9:45 pm

Gonzaga came out flat with 3 turnovers in the first 5 possessions. You can’t sleep on Ty Lawson and Turbo Tyler. I’ve always said the true test of a coach is how their team responds after a timeout. Well, case in point after his club had fought back to within 11 with 10 minutes left…the Bulldogs came back out and watched North Carolina score 7 unanswered. Let’s face it North Carolina had the much better team and Roy Williams. Mark Few is where he should be, in Spokane. The Zags needed an all out emotional battle and they didn’t get it. Not from the coach or anybody else…it’s a shame. The problem for them is that they are rarely tested in the WC

  • Silva shelled,Husky perimeter game
    March 22, 2009 11:05 am

Former Mariner Luis Sojo probably has managed his last WBC for Venezuela . Sojo elected to start current Mariner Carlos Silva rather than the great young arm Felix Hernandez.

  • Good Vibes
    March 21, 2009 11:05 am

Thursday’s Sounders experience was more fun to broadcast than any I’ve done in a long time. The day began for me in the booth at 4 for a 6:30 kickoff. I didn’t make it to the march because I didn’t want to miss the developments at Qwest field. I watched the folks practicing the pregame […]

  • Getting Ready
    March 19, 2009 5:44 am

It’s now 5:20 a.m. day of the game and I’m up already. I’m checking the MLS news. Boy, a year ago and wouldn’t have imagined I’d be this stoked for a soccer match. But here we are. The more I get to know the coaches, players and soccer community the more I wish for their […]

  • New Champs
    March 7, 2009 9:40 pm

The Washington men should be playing in Portland the week of March 15th. I’m guessing they are a 3 seed at the Rose garden regardless of the outcome of the PAC 10 tournament. And call me a homer but are there any better for coach of the year than Romar, player of the year Brockman […]

  • Griffey’s first AB, Washington Seattle redux
    March 4, 2009 7:13 pm

Ken Griffey Junior recorded his first plate appearance of the year tonite against Australia. The classic swing is still there as is the big broad smile. He worked the count to 3-2 fouled off a pitch then walked. He advanced on a passed ball, stopped at third on a Beltre base hit and was left […]

  • T.J. Houshmandzadeh
    March 3, 2009 1:07 pm

I attended the Houshmandzadeh press conference today. Wow..what a great acquisition! An average of 98 catches a year over the last 3 years…a young 31…6 1 200…possession receiver..a guy who as Jim Mora put it ” can win the 50 50 balls.” He can beat up on corners the way others beat up on the […]
