The Wilson situation and post game update
April 8, 2011 9:15 pmEverything seemed wrong Wednesday . I tweeted it shortly after it happened . There was speculation that Jack Wilson was injured but I didn’t think that was the case.

My favorite Dave Niehaus memory
April 8, 2011 9:45 amHappy Opening Day Part 2. To be honest it is never very exciting opening in Oakland. There just is not a lot of fanfare or celebration there. They did sell it out and I get a kick out of seeing the fans there but other than the extended introductions it felt like most any other […]

April 6, 2011 1:36 pmI caught up this morning with Miguel Olivo, who was enjoying a rare day off complete with a massage from trainer Taka, who usually works on Ichiro. “That is definitely one of the things I missed,” Olivo said with a laugh.

April 5, 2011 12:04 pmWhen Michael Pineda takes the hill tonight he will become the first Mariners starter to make his debut as a starter and not out of the pen since Felix Hernandez made his first big league start August 4 2005 in Detroit. Ichiro passes Edgar and the M’s win in interesting fashion again
April 2, 2011 11:34 pmAnother interesting game for the Mariners who beat the A’s 5-2. The pitching stood out as the good with Jason Vargas picking up where he left off last year throwing 6 2/3 innings of one run ball. We had our first appearance of the bullpen with the skipper electing to go with the veterans with […]

From Opening Night to game 2
April 2, 2011 10:47 amLast night was fun. Or funny. I still can’t decide which one. It isn’t every day let alone Opening Day that you see a team commit five errors, but hey, that’s baseball as they say. You have got to take what you get and the Mariners had no problem doing that. They knew what to […]
