Quick updates on Adam Moore, Jack Wilson

I will try and fire this off before we get on the plane. I did not have an opportunity to talk to Adam Moore but did see him on crutches after the game. Eric Wedge said his right knee locked up on him in the eight inning and that he would undergo an MRI tomorrow.

Sounds ominous but I am hearing that it may not be serious. From what Moore was describing to others the thought is it could be a cartridge injury that caused the knee to lock up and that would require far less time to recover than ligament damage. Again we will not know anything until the MRI but there is some optimism that this is not serious.

If you follow me on Twitter (and you really should @shannondrayer ) I tweeted during the game that I did not believe that Jack Wilson was injured. Following the two-error inning, he exited the field and headed straight down into the tunnel. Looked more angry than injured to me. Wedge called him “hazy.”

“He was just a little hazy after that play at second base,” Wedge said. “He was just having trouble getting it back so we had to take him out.”

Wilson hung in there on the take out slide but was wild on the throw. Two errors behind Felix Hernandez no doubt was frustrating but I doubt Wedge would have pulled him if he were able to gather himself and get past the haziness.

I will let you know if I hear any more about Moore. I would expect a roster move in the next 24 hours.
