    The Thunderbirds practice today was a pretty light one . . at least in my eyes . Then again I didn’t have to skate down the ice and back and then down again for four straight minutes.

    KENT–A game that started out well for the Birds went downhill quickly as the Kootenay Ice scored six straight goals and defeated a Thunderbirds team that seemed out matched most of the game by a score of 6-2.

    EVERETT–Backed by three quick goals to open each period the Thunderbirds go on to defeat the Silvertips for the first time this season by a score of 4-1.

    KENT–It was a quick first goal that got the Thunderbirds the early lead as Luke Lockhart (10) slapped one past Spokane goalie James Reid at the 53 second mark.
