The Seahawks have signed wide receiver Tyler Slavin to a futures contract, according to Thursday’s NFL transaction report.

Slavin is listed as 6 foot 1 and 210 pounds. He was an undrafted rookie last season from Division II New Mexico Highlands, where he transferred after starting his college career at Arizona. He was signed after the draft by St. Louis and was briefly on Seattle’s practice squad last season.

Slavin is the 18th player Seattle has signed to a futures contract for 2016, which means they will be part of the team’s 90-man offseason roster once the new league year begins in March.

The other 17 are: OL Terry Poole, OL Will Pericak, C Drew Nowak, FB Brandon Cottom, CB George Farmer, CB Stanley Jean-Baptiste, DB Robert Smith, DB Travon Reed, WR Deshon Foxx, WR Antwan Goodley, WR Douglas McNeil, DT Justin Hamilton, DE Tyson DeAngelo, OLB Josh Shirley, TE Ronnie Shields, QB Phillip Sims and LS Andrew East.
