CHARLOTTE, N.C. – As expected, Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch is active for today’s divisional-round game against Carolina and will play for the first time since Nov. 10.

Lynch was listed as probable, having practiced without limitation all last week. Coach Pete Carroll said the team expected him to play after missing Seattle’s last eight games with an abdominal injury that required surgery.

Seattle’s list of inactive players didn’t include any surprises. Fullback Will Tukuafu, who was listed as doubtful, won’t play due to a hamstring injury that he sustained last week. None of the other six players that Seattle declared inactive were on last week’s injury report, a sign that the Seahawks are as healthy as they’ve been in some time.

Seattle’s other inactives: cornerback Tye Smith, running back Bryce Brown, linebacker Eric Pinkins, guard Mark Glowinski, guard/center Kristjan Sokoli and defensive tackle A.J. Francis.

Former Seahawks wide receiver Kevin Norwood is among Carolina’s inactives, which was also the case when the two teams played in Seattle in Week 6. Traded to Carolina before the season, Norwood has only appeared in one game for the Panthers.

Carolina’s other inactives: wide receiver Brenton Bersin, cornerback Lou Young, safety Dean Marlowe, running backs Brandon Wegher and Fozzy Whittaker and defensive end Ryan Delaire.
