Four Seahawks recognized by Pro Football Writers of America

Pro Football Writers of America released its 2015 awards and all-star teams this week, with for Seahawks earning recognition.

Defensive lineman Michael Bennett and free safety Earl Thomas made the All-NFC team while kick returner Tyler Lockett and running back Thomas Rawls made the All-Rookie team.

Bennett and Detroit’s Ezekiel Ansah were the two NFC defensive ends chosen. Thomas was joined by Arizona’s Tyrann Mathieu as the NFC’s safeties.

St. Louis’ Todd Gurley was the other NFC running back with Rawls while Lockett made the All-Rookie team in three categories: kickoff returner, punt returner and special-teamer.
