Daily Rewind: Sept. 2

Today on The Groz Show we talked to Seattle Storm head coach Brian Agler about being named coach of the year, Lauren Jackson winning her third MVP award and the Western Conference Finals against the Phoenix Mercury.

In the interview Coach Agler acknowleded Sue Bird as being a huge part of him winning the coach of the year award and Lauren Jackson winning the MVP award, saying “she has done a great job this year and throughout.”

Groz asked Agler what has been the key to success for the Storm this year in the playoffs and Coach Agler responded “the last two years we have been impacted by not having Lauren, her being healthy has allowed us to really benefit.”
