Thursday Rewind: Why Felix should start the season finale

On today’s opening rant, The Groz lit into the Mariners after yesterday’s unfathomable loss to the Texas Rangers 6-5. It was the first time since 2005 that a major league game ended on a play that began with a strikeout, as the Mariners discovered a new way to lose in their miserable 2010 campaign.

“When you try to avoid losing 100 games for the second time in three years, you’ve obviously lost a lot of games in many different ways,” said the Groz on Thursday’s show.

With the regular season ending on Sunday, The Groz thinks it’s a “no-brainer” the Mariners should start Felix Hernandez for the finale against the A’s.

ESPN senior baseball analyst Tim Kurkjian joined the show to preview the 2010 postseason, and who are the main contenders for the World Series title.

Fantasy football guru Brad Evans from Yahoo Sports answered your questions on who is hot and who is not heading into Week 4.
