Friday Rewind: Seahawks, Sounders and NASCAR

On today’s show, The Groz covered a smorgasbord of topics from around the sporting world.

The Seahawks travel to St. Louis to face a young Rams team hungry for a divisional win as they are on a 15-game losing streak against the NFC West. Tony Softli, former Vice President of the Rams, joined the show to provide an interesting take on Sam Bradford’s place within the pecking order of NFC West quarterbacks.

“I think next to Hasselbeck, (Bradford) might be the best quarterback in the NFC West…it will show this Sunday,” said Softli.

 

 

“The Professor” John Clayton updated all the injuries from around the league heading into Week 4 of the regular season.

 

 

Matt Johnson, host of Sounders FC weekly, talked about the impact new acquisition Blaise Nkufo has had on the team over the past few weeks, and previewed their upcoming match against Toronto FC.

 

Holly Cain, a NASCAR writer for AOL Fanhouse, told us who to watch this weekend in the chase for the Sprint Cup title in Kansas City.
