Video: Justin Meyers makes good on balut bet with Groz
If you weren’t watching Thursday’s edition of “Bob and Groz” on the live stream, the above video contains visual proof that producer Justin Myers did, in fact, make good on his bet with Groz to take a bite of balut.
A popular Filipino dish, balut is a hard-boiled fertilized duck egg with a developing embryo, and if it sounds like something that would be eaten on the show “Bizarre Foods” with Andrew Zimmern, it has been.
The genesis of the bet was the national championship game, which Groz’s Ohio State Buckeys won over Myers’ Oregon Ducks.
