3/29: Columnist defends WSU coach Ken Bone

–Steve Kelley of The Seattle Times writes that despite the three marijuana-related incidents with his team this season, Washington State coach Ken Bone runs a good program. Kelley: “There isn’t a better guy, a more moral person, coaching in college basketball. Oh, and by the way, he also happens to be good at his job.”

–Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times writes about the competition between Nick Montana and Keith Price at quarterback for the Huskies.

–Scott M. Johnson of The Everett Herald writes that tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins could fill a big void for the Huskies this season.

–Mike Sando of ESPN.com lists Seahawks’ John Carlson as the “most confounding” tight end in the NFC West.

–Sando assesses the skill players NFC West teams have drafted in the first four rounds in the last three years. The Seahawks have two such players, wide receivers Golden Tate and Deon Butler.
