Bedard Interview and ‘Hawks Press Conference

Too tired tonight for much of a blog but what a performance by Felix Hernandez today. That is the type of outing that qualifies you for “true ace” status. Just awesome. Coming off a loss, trying to win a series against a high caliber opponent, and with three key starters injured and Jaime Burke pressed into duty at first base, he buckled down and dominated. I couldn’t be more impressed.

Now off to Anaheim where Erik Bedard tries to keep it going. Speaking of Bedard, lots of you have been clamoring for us to post the audio of our interview with him from Tuesday. For whatever reason, the podcast of that hour didn’t work, so I’m putting it here. Enjoy!

 

I still think they should Brian Orakpo at #4, but I seem to be in the minority. But this article from ProFootballTalk.com was interesting. I don’t think the Seahawks are going to be able to trade out of the pick, but it sure would be sweet of they could!
