Mock draft has Mason Foster going in Round 2

Former Washington linebacker Mason Foster has made his way into the second round of one prominent mock draft.

ESPN’s Todd McShay predicts in his latest mock draft that Foster will go No. 49 to the Jaguars. Mel Kiper Jr. also released a mock draft on Wednesday, but doesn’t have Foster being taken in the first three rounds.

The latest mock draft from WalterFootball.com predicts the Jaguars will take Foster in the third round (No. 80).

Foster worked out for NFL scouts at Washington’s pro day last week, improving his time in the 40-yard dash to 4.67 seconds.

Foster visited the Dolphins on Tuesday according to National Football Post, which cites one NFL scout as saying “he initially had Foster graded as a third or fourth-round selection and now has him graded as a second-round selection.”

Both Kiper and McShay have the Seahawks taking Jake Locker with the 25th pick.
