Washington State head football coach Paul Wulff joined the Calabro show on Wednesday and discussed the improvement he’s seen in junior quarterback Jeff Tuel.

Wulff said Tuel has added some bulk in the offseason and is up to around 215-220 pounds. He said the game seems to be slowing down for Tuel.

“He can make the big, big-time throws. He makes the throws that guys make on Sundays,” Wulff said. “He’s got a tremendous amount of potential. … We’re biased, (but) we think he’s got the potential to be one of the finer guys out there. … I do think he’s going to have a very good year.”
