Hoops team picks up Kansas transfer

Ken Bone took a major hit when both DeAngelo Casto and Klay Thompson decided to move on to professional ranks, but he got some good news this week when Kansas guard Royce Woolridge let him know that he’d be trasnferring from KU to WSU.

Woolridge, a sophomore-to-be from Phoenix, played sparingly for the Jayhawks last season and was looking for more play time. The athletic shooting guard will have to sit out next season due to transfer rules, but will have three years of eligibility after that.

Here’s an article about the transfer and another about his decision to leave.

Well done Coach Bone and welcome to the family Royce!

Go Cougs!
