Anderson wins third NCAA title

Jeshua Anderson closed out his collegiate career on a high note, winning his third NCAA Intermediate Hurdles title.

Anderson won the national title in both his freshman and sophomore years, then took second as a junior.

This time around, Anderson pulled away from the field and won by over a half-second with a time of 48.56 seconds. He became only the 4th Cougar is school history to win a national title in the same event three times.

After the win Anderson said, “The big thing was to stay focused. Last year we did a little different training. I came here focused. The track was wet and there was the delay, but I’m blessed with the time and thankful for another title. I wanted to run faster but within the conditions, I’m thankful.”

Next up for Anderson is the USA National Championships June 23-26 in Eugene, OR.

Congratulations Jeshua! Go Cougs!
