Sounders FC signs Seattle-area player

The Seattle Sounders FC has added midfielder Lamar Neagle, a native of Federal Way, Wash.

Neagle was signed on Wednesday. He was added to the Sounders official roster as a senior developmental player.

Neagle recently graduated from UNLV. He was a three-time first-team all-Mountain Pacific Sports Federal selection and played in every game but one in his four-year career with the Running Rebels. Neagle led UNLV in scoring with nine goals in each of his final two seasons.

Before starring at UNLV, Neagle was a standout at Thomas Jefferson High School in Federal Way. He is the fourth Sounders’ player who played prep and club soccer in Washington state.
