Sounders sign GK Terry Boss

The Seattle Sounders have signed former New York Red Bulls goalkeeper Terry Boss.

Boss was goalkeeper of the year in 2008 while playing for the Charlotte Eagles of the USL Second Division.

He then signed with the Red Bulls and was with the New York franchise until May 27 when he was released. Boss began training with the Sounders in June and was signed after impressing Seattle coach Sigi Schmid during training.

Boss has not played in any MLS games. He saw action in three reserve games for the Red Bulls before a knee injury.
