Snoop Dogg says Sounders player is best in world

Rapper Snoop Dogg calls Sounders player Clint Dempsey “the number one soccer player in the world” in a new video shout out to Dempsey and the U.S. Men’s National Team.

“Good luck on the World Cup, and bring it home,” said Snoop in the video.

Dempsey thanked Snoop Dogg with a message on twitter.

Dempsey is in his second season with the Seattle Sounders. Dempsey began his career with the New England Revolution in 2004. He’s the current captain of the U.S. National Team and seven-year veteran of the English Premier League, where he holds the record for most goals scored by an American.

Sounders defender DeAndre Yedlin is also on the 23-player roster for the World Cup.
