The Mariners have acquired right-handed reliever Nick Vincent from San Diego for a player to be named later, securing the final piece of their bullpen.

The club announced the move Wednesday morning. Afterward, general manager Jerry Dipoto told reporters that the 29-year-old Vincent will join a bullpen that also includes Joel Peralta, Steve Cishek, Tony Zych, Joaquin Benoit, Vidal Nuno and Mike Montgomery.

“The seven that I just named, that’s our bullpen,” Dipoto said, according to Shannon Drayer.

Vincent, has made 161 relief appearances over four seasons with San Diego, posting a 2.63 ERA and a 9-1 record with one save and 161 strikeouts.

He appeared in 26 games over four stints with San Diego last season, going 0-1 with a 2.35 earned run average. That included a stellar September in which he didn’t allow a run in 9.1 innings over 13 appearances. Vincent had a 3.04 ERA in 40 relief appearances last season with San Diego’s Triple-A affiliate.

With Vincent’s addition, the Mariners’ 40-man roster is full.
