Reports: Seahawks interested in offensive linemen Donald Penn, Kelvin Beachum

With Russell Okung reportedly meeting with the Giants and Lions, the Seahawks are working on a contingency plan at left tackle.

The Seahawks reportedly will meet with Kelvin Beachum on Monday, according to the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, and they also have interest in Donald Penn, per Vic Tafur of the San Francisco Chronicle.

Beachum is a four-year veteran who has spent his entire career with the Steelers. The 2012 seventh-round pick could come at a discount after tearing his ACL last season.

Penn, 32, has spent the last two seasons with the Raiders. He was with Tampa Bay from 2006-13, earning a Pro Bowl nomination in 2010.

Another option is J’Marcus Webb, who told SiriusXM NFL Radio he has a visit scheduled with Seattle. Webb, a teammate of Penn’s in Oakland last season, has also played for Chicago and Minnesota in a six-year career.

The Seahawks have previously been linked to tackle Bradley Stowell.

Seattle is also looking to fill spots at linebacker and defensive tackle after the departures of Bruce Irvin (Oakland) and Brandon Mebane (San Diego) earlier in the week.

Browns free-agent linebacker Craig Robertson will meet with Seattle, according to ESPN.com. He made 59 tackles in 12 games (nine starts) in 2015. The 28-year-old Robertson’s made a career-high 99 tackles in 2014 and three sacks in 2013. He isn’t likely to take over Irvin’s position as an outside pass rusher but would provide depth as an inside linebacker.

On the interior defensive line, the Seahawks are meeting with Al Woods from the Titans, according to Rapoport. The 6-foot-4, 307-pound Woods has the size to replace the 311-pound Mebane. He has also has familiarity with Seattle, having played two games for the Seahawks in 2011. The soon-to-be 29 year old made 22 tackles in 14 games with Tennessee in 2015.
