The dates and times won’t be announced until April, but the home and away opponents on the Seahawks’ 2016 regular-season schedule are now set.

Seattle will host Atlanta, Carolina, Buffalo, Miami and Philadelphia along with the three NFC West teams: Arizona, San Francisco and St. Louis. The Seahawks’ road games will be at New Orleans, Tampa Bay, New England, the New York Jets and Green Bay as well as Arizona, San Francisco and St. Louis.

Seattle’s schedule includes only five games against four teams that reached the postseason in 2015: Arizona (home and away), Carolina, Green Bay and New England.

The Seahawks will host Carolina and play the Packers at Lambeau Field for the second straight season. Former Seahawks defensive coordinator Dan Quinn, now the Falcons’ head coach, will return to Seattle when the Seahawks host Atlanta.

The Packers were the final opponent to be determined. That happened Sunday night when Green Bay lost to Minnesota, which meant the Vikings and Packers finished first and second, respectively, in the NFC North.

NFL schedules consist of six divisional games, eight games against two other divisions – in Seattle’s case next season, the NFC South and AFC East – and two games against teams that finished in the same place in their respective divisions. Along with Green Bay, Philadelphia is the other second-place team on Seattle’s 2016 schedule.
