Video: After Mariners’ fifth straight loss, Servais says season still young

The video above includes some postgame comments from manager Scott Servais after the Mariners fell to Texas Tuesday night for their fifth straight loss.

Servais’ message: It’s too early to get down on a team that looked as good as it did while winning two of three in its season-opening series.

“We’ve got to find a way. We’ve got to find a way to get back on our game,” he said. “It’s the same team that played five, six days ago. I’m pretty sure our roster hasn’t changed. We’ve got to pick ourselves up. We have a lot of games left to play. There’s a long season ahead. But I’m pretty sure we haven’t changed the roster. It’s the same guys.”
