Seattle Mariners set Opening Day 25-man roster

There are no surprises as the Mariners set their 25-man roster.

The final moves before the regular season begins:

Selected from AAA Tacoma: RHP Joel Peralta

Designated for assignment: C Rob Brantly

Re-Assigned to Minor League Camp: RHP Blake Parker, RHP Donn Roach, IF Efren Navarro, OF Daniel Robertson.

Placed on 15-Day disabled list (retroactive to March 25): LHP Charlie Furbush (left shoulder biceps tendinitis), RHP Evan Scribner (strained latissimus dorsi, right shoulder).

The team has 10 days to trade, release or outright Brantly, who is out of options to the minors.

With the moves the Mariners active roster is at 25, and the 40-man roster is full.
